Welcome to record_and_play's Icon journal. rather than whining about making icons and not having anywhere to post them, I created this! Anyway, my name is Aimee. I am 16 years old and entering my junior year of high school as class president. Photoshop is by far my favorite hobby, thus my icons. I only wish I could be a little less dependant on tutorials and brushes to make my icons and layouts. Hopefully someday i'll improve. enjoy!
Pretty simple... I just ask 4 things of you all:
>> Commenting is wonderful
Lets face it, we all love to be loved. Therefore, the more comments I recieve, the happier I am, and the more icons I make! I also like to check up on my icons and see which styles and subjects you guys prefer more so I can make better icons for you!
>> Credit is a must
Seeing as I put a great deal of time into each and every icon I create, I must insist that you all credit my work. You can credit

>>Hotlinking is a bummer
When taking my icons, please upload them onto your own server. It drains my bandwidth which ultimately affects everyone here. Livejournal now doesn't even require you to upload your user picture onto a server. You can now upload them straight from your computer. Again, if there is any confusion as to how this is done, ask me and I would be glad to help.
>>Modifying is not cool
Unless I have specifically noted in a post that these icons are ok to be modified, I ask that you leave them be. Though some may not look it, my icons can take quiet a long time to achieve the look I am looking for. If you wish to change something on a specific icon, ask me and i'll see what I can do!
